ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO SINGAPORE

We've been eagerly anticipating your arrival to our sunny shores!

From 29 August 2022, all travellers regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status can enjoy quarantine-free travel to Singapore with simplified COVID-19 measures in place so that you can explore the island with a peace of mind.

DURING YOUR STAY IN SINGAPORE

Mask Wearing

  • Mask-wearing will not be required in most places (indoor and outdoor), except in healthcare settings, public transport and some flights and ferries*.

  • Speakers at events may be unmasked.

    *Depending on where you are travelling to and/or from, some flights and ferries may require you to wear masks onboard. Travellers are advised to check with the respective operators on the mask-wearing requirement prior to their trip.

What to do if you test positive for COVID-19

  • Individuals who feel unwell: Visit a doctor via private transport or request for a Telemedicine (TM) consult from this list.

  • Clinic: The nearest Clinic is located within Changi Airport Terminal 3 (Where the Conference Hotel Crowne Plaza is located). Should you require medical attention, visit Raffles Medical Group at at #B2-01.

  • Individuals who feel well: Cancel your social activities and self-isolate for 72 hours.


DEPARTURE REQUIREMENTS FROM SINGAPORE

There are no restrictions imposed on departures from Singapore. However, travellers must abide by the travel requirements imposed by their overseas destination. Please note the following points if you are planning to leave Singapore:

 

Travel Requirements Imposed by Destination Country/Region

Many destinations still have COVID-19 travel restrictions in place, in addition to other required travel documentation. These may include COVID-19 tests, entry approvals/declarations, and proof of vaccination.

Please check with the authorities of your destination on the entry requirements imposed on travellers departing from Singapore, or refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' travel guides for details sorted by destination.

 

Obtaining COVID-19 Medical Proof
(e.g. vaccination/recovery certificates, test reports)

A pre-departure COVID-19 test can be booked with:

Before booking, check with the clinic on the type of test administered, cost and estimated turnaround time for the release of the report, and ensure that these can meet the requirements of the destination country.

On the day of the test, travellers should bring the following documents for registration to facilitate report preparation:

  1. Identity card (for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Pass Holders)

  2. Passport to be used for travelling

  3. Flight booking details showing the departure timing

For PCR tests, the clinic will send you a digitally authenticated test result via email in the form of a QR code, which can be used for boarding and immigration clearance. For ART results, ask the clinic to issue a digitally authenticated report.
